Being a Leader
Every school needs leaders. Now under the direction of Mr. Valdez, Cal’s Leadership class is creating the politicians and activists of tomorrow. Each week, Leadership students work to publicize whatever is going on at the school, plan events, and bolster school spirit through Spirit Days. Leadership students also spearhead Cal’s charity drives like Pennies for Patients, produce the Parent Newsletter, and film bimonthly video broadcasts of school events, some of which can be viewed on this very web site.

Students can sign up for Leadership as a sixth period elective. It is mandatory class for all student officers.
