Mrs. Linda Vick’s responsibilities center on three major areas: Academic counseling focused on encouraging students to pursue college educations and higher paying careers, social counseling for students encountering difficulties at school, and personal counseling for students having problems in their families.
As reinforcement for the counseling, the hard-working staff has adopted an anger management program and set up a web of middle school Conflict Managers. The counselors also make referrals to outside agencies such as La Familia, Sacramento County Mental Access, and MITT, the district co
