Cal’s Speech & Debate team is ROLLING! At the December 12,
2012 tournament at Sutter Middle School, California Middle took
the much coveted Sweepstakes Trophy! The Sweepstakes Trophy is a
true team accomplishment, and is awarded to the team with the
HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF WINS OVERALL. Incredible job, Cal S&D!!

Every year at this time, much of our focus is on STAR
testing. It’s important that students are fully-prepared to
“show what they know,” so our teachers are helping them review
key concepts and test-taking strategies. Testing begins
April 29th…
The Multicultural Fair is a celebration of the wide variety of
cultures in our diverse community. In addition to promoting
cultural sensitivity and increasing an awareness and appreciation
of other cultures, the Fair extends education beyond classroom
walls by exposing students, faculty and staff to a multi-ethnic
experience where students take the lead in teaching others.
We invite all of our students and their families to spend the
evening with us at our annual Open House. Students and families
will have the opportunity to chat with our amazing staff, visit
classrooms and see student work.
